Cotton tail tonic idea
Everyone has a bunch of them, and they are worth nothing, so i would change them into:
"For fifty minutes, wile in an explorable area and not in a party, you turn into a rabbit. Monsters wont attack you ,you don't trigger traps or any other scripted event like monster pop ups and you can move around freely, but you can't be the target of enchantments, open chests, talk to npc's or pick up items.
I would really love me some of those, just to take a closer look at the monsters. And i don't see how they could be abused for anything but mapping.
People would actually buy cotton tail tonics too.

That's what it's for. Would be great to get into DoA to check everything out up close. But other then mapping areas and spotting Nicolas you should not be able to gain anything from it.

So just because everybody has a bunch of them and they aren't worth anything there functionality should be changed? I guess this means Anet has a lot of work to do then...

it's an interesting idea, but I think this is a way of bypassing areas you shouldn't otherwise from what was originally intended.
While on the subject I had this in mind...
You turn into a ball of cotton with arms and legs, plus form has a dance emote.

So I can run from Ascalon to Droknars Forge as a level 2 Monk with starter armor....

I actually think its cool, as long as you don't get exploring title points and all portals to towns are closed so you can get to areas that aren't right next to a town and you cant run yourself to a town.

Sorry but casually browsing, I see loads of people saying "unsigned". You do realise that you haven't signed already, so technically you can't unsign?
Anyway, /notsigned, because it's just stupid. There's no reason to change the functionality of any tonics, let alone the cottontail.

It's an interesting idea, but way too easily abused. Like people are saying here, where's the cutoff? It's free cartographer if you can map the area, and doesn't make sense if you can't. If you can use it to get from one place to another, it's way too imba, but it's totally illogical if you suddenly can't zone into towns or the next area.
It's a shame because I love the idea, just not sure about the execution. One thing about the mysterious summons and tonics is that I can finally get a good look at the monster models, and a lot of them are extremely impressive. I wouldn't mind being able to check out weird bosses and things without them destroying me. :P

maybe if you cant zone and map area that you havent been to is not added on while under its effects. And you cant talk to npcs. Im guessing thats too much for anet to think about and program lol. I like the idea though

Silly idea, way to easy to exploit with exploring/running.
Heck, all you have to do is run to the end of something, wait for the timer of the bunny to run out, and THEN, you can beat missions/dungeons with no effort.

Easy to fix by making the bunny effect permanent as long as you stay in the instance.

Sorry if I'm being slow but... why Cottontail Tonics?
Is there something I'm missing that makes them different from other tonics?
